Error Proof Levels are ranking parameters which will help in analyzing the impact of failures in a FMEA. Error Proof Levels are configured in the configuration section and this can be used in FMEAs while creating data in FMEA.

Error Proof Levels - Main Page

On choosing the Error Proof Levels option from the Choose field in the Settings section, the Error Proof Levels main page will appear. The Error Proof Levels Main Page will have the following,

• A Create button will be present to create Error Proof Levels.
• The List of already created Error Proof Levels.
• On selecting any Error Proof Level from the appearing list, the Error Proof Level Table will be displayed.
• The Error Proof Level table which has two columns: Name and Actions.
• The settings icon in the Error Proof Level table will have the options Edit and Delete.

Create Error Proof Level

To create Error Proof Level, follow the steps given below:
Step 1 : Go to the Configurations section and select the Settings tab.
Step 2 : In the choose dropdown field, select Error Proof Levels.


Step 3 : In the Error Proof Level screen, click on the Create button. The Create Error Proof Level screen appears.


Step 4 : In the Create screen that appears, fill in all the details and click on the Submit button. The Error Proof Level will be created.


Step 5 : To add data in the Error Proof Level, click on the Add icon present in the Error Proof Level table and add the data.

Step 6 : The image for Error Proof Level can be added by clicking on the Browse button and adding the image then clicking on the upload button.

The selected image will be added.

Edit Error Proof Level

To edit Error Proof Level, follow the steps given below:
Step 1 : Go to the Configurations section and select the Settings tab.
Step 2 : In the choose dropdown field select Error Proof Levels.
Step 3 : Select the Error Proof Level you need to Edit.
Step 4 : Click on the Settings icon and select the Edit option.


Step 5 : In the Edit screen that appears, make the required changes and click on the Submit button. The Error Proof Level will be updated.

Delete Error Proof Level

To delete Error Proof Level, follow the steps given below:
Step 1 : Go to the Configurations section and select the Settings tab.
Step 2 : In the choose dropdown field select Error Proof Levels.
Step 3 : Select the Error Proof Level you need to delete.
Step 4 : Click on the settings icon and select the Delete option.


Step 5 : In the Delete screen that appears, click on the Delete button. The Error Proof Level will be removed.
