A Category is used to divide or classify the FMEAs based on the similar characteristics shared between them. Creating a Category helps to find and maintain the FMEAs easily within the plugin. Any number of sub-categories can be created within a Category. These sub-categories also help in filtering the FMEAs.Anchor
Category Main Page
In the Configuration section, on selecting the Category tab the Main category page will appear. The Main page of the Category will have the following,
- Create button to create a category
- Quick search bar to search the Categories from the list of categories created.
- List of categories created.
Create Category
To create a category, follow the steps given below,
Step 1 : Go to the configuration section and select the category tab.
Step 2 : Click on the Create button.
Step 3 : On the create category screen that appears, fill in all the details and add sub categories by entering the Sub Category and clicking on the Add button. After entering all the data click on the Submit button.
The Category will be created.
Edit Category
To edit Category, follow the steps given below,
Step 1 : Go to the Configuration section and select the Category tab.
Step 2 : Select the Category you need to edit.
Step 3 : In the Category screen click on the settings icon and select the Edit option.
Step 4 : On the Edit screen that appears make the required changes and click on the submit button.
The selected Category will be edited.
Delete Category
To delete Category, follow the steps given below,
Step 1 : Go to the Configuration section and select the Category tab.
Step 2 : Select the Category you need to delete.
Step 3 : In the Category screen click on the settings icon and select the Delete option.
The Delete Category screen will appear.
Step 4 : In the Delete Category screen that appears, click on the Delete button.
The selected Category will be removed.
